Triage & CPR - Concepts for the Whole Team will be held at VetMED Emergency & Specialty Veterinary Hospital in Phoenix on Monday, July 29, 2019. Join us for this evening meeting approved for 2 CE hours by the Arizona Academy of Veterinary Practice! 

  • This session has been designed for veterinary team members.

Discussion Topics:

  • Perform a targeted initial history & primary survey examination
  • Recognize signs of patient instability requiring urgent attention
  • Discuss code status with owners
  • Learn how to perform basic life support & monitoring
  • Gain the basics of advanced life support including defibrillation & drug therapies


Approved for 2 CE hours by the Arizona Academy of Veterinary Practice (for technicians).




Katie Nash, BVSc, MS, DACVECC

VetMED Emergency & Specialty Veterinary Hospital

Dr. Katie Nash earned her veterinary degree from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2008 and completed her rotating internship at Queensland Veterinary Specialists in 2013. She completed a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at Auburn University and was awarded Diplomate status and a Master of Science degree in 2017. She currently heads the critical care service at VetMED in Phoenix, Arizona and has special interests in thromboembolic disease, disorders of fibrinolysis, polytrauma, respiratory failure and post-arrest care.


Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received before 7-22-19 will receive refunds in full. No-shows or cancellations received after 7-22-19 will be charged the full amount.

Late Registration Policy: Registrations received on or after July 24, 2019 will be charged a $10 late registration processing fee.
