Katie Nash, BVSc, MS, DACVECC

VetMED Emergency & Specialty Care


Katie Nash grew up in Queensland, Australia and earned her veterinary degree from the University of Queensland in 2008. After several years in general and emergency small animal practice she completed a rotating internship at Queensland Veterinary Specialists in 2013 and moved to the U.S. of A, completing a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at Auburn University in 2017.

She currently practices at VetMED Emergency & Specialty Veterinary Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, and is an associate editor for Veterinary Medicine and Science. She has special interests in thromboembolic disease, polytrauma, perioperative critical care, mechanical ventilation and post-arrest care.
