October 6th - PART 1: Foundation of Trust
When was the last time you and your team discussed trust? You want it. Your team feeds on it. And your clients return because they have it. But when have you ever talked about it-Trust? Trust defines healthy workplaces. It elevates, empowers, engages,
offers profitability and prosperity. How can you measure what feels to be intangible and improve upon it? Attendees will find out!
October 20th - PART 2: Courageous Conversations
Have you and your team created a safe work environment in which to freely exchange ideas, bring forth grievances and propel the team and clients into healthy, productive conversations? “If we don’t trust one another, then we aren’t going to engage in
open, constructive, ideological conflict. And we’ll just continue to preserve a sense of artificial harmony,” Patrick Lencioni’s character, Kathryn, explains to her team when describing the 5 Dysfunctions of a Team. What artificial harmony are you

November 4th - PART 3: Intent in Commitment
Commitment is dependent upon two things; Clarity & Buy-in. Consider evaluating your organization's Mission, Vision and Value Statements. How well are they defined and brought to life in each day or even during each appointment? How can a team commit
to its purpose? Attendees will evaluate guiding principle statements (Values, Vision & Mission statements) to establish the clarity and buy-in. How can a team commit when there is little alignment for intent?
November 18th - PART 4: Build Accountability
There is a great irony when your veterinary team points out the inconsistency in accountability to a plethora of misguided intentions. How are you, the boss of the team, leading through example? Let's consider a few of the top cognitive biases possibly
distorting leadership vision. Let's test the assumptions in destroying accountability. What biases are holding you and your team back?
December 2nd - PART 5: Attention to Results
If the dysfunction is Inattention to Results—focusing on personal success, status and ego before team success-then the opposite is establishing the team, defining what is a success and blowing those parameters out of the water! Interesting, that we have
finally reached the level of a team (fully functioning and to what degree). Attendees will consider the various types of teams working within a veterinary hospital to accurately pinpoint their team and its level of functioning.

Rebecca Rose, CVT cares about and understands veterinary teams. She graduated from Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, Colorado in 1987 with a degree in veterinary technology. She is the president and founder of CATALYST Veterinary Professional
Rebecca’s career in the veterinary community is quite diverse, making her an expert in team development and creating an enjoyable work environment. She has worked as a veterinary technician at a mixed animal practice, was the first paid administrator
to the Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians (CACVT) and she managed two AAHA-accredited veterinary practices.
Her writings can be found in several training books and veterinary related magazines. She facilitates customized workshops in veterinary hospitals and at local, state, national and international venues. She hosts online programs with her CATALYST
VetPC Team geared towards practice prosperity, team development, and wellbeing. Finally, through Rebecca’s coaching and insight, veterinary managers and team members can create a supportive, sustainable hospital culture, identifying the ideal culture
and filling in the gaps to make it a reality.
Rebecca’s role in leadership includes industry council experience and extensive association participation including president of both the CACVT and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA). She has won two awards from
the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA): Technician of the Year & Industry Partner of the Year. She has facilitated the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Speaker Communication Training Program for the past two years and presented
at their Veterinary Wellbeing Summits.

Jamie Green has been in the veterinary industry since 1986, starting in the kennels in a hospital in South Central Kansas and working her way up to hospital manager before leaving Kansas to come to Arizona and work for Nationwide. She has assisted with both small and large animals, as well as a multitude of exotics, including big cats and raptors. Jamie is the Southwest Veterinary Strategic Account Manager with Nationwide Pet Insurance covering AZ, CO, NM, NV and UT. She has been with Nationwide for over 5 years. Jamie lives in the Phoenix metro area with her husband, Christian. Together they have 6 children, 2 granddaughters, 4 dogs, 5 grand-dogs and 1 grand-cat. In her spare time, Jamie can be found hiking, swimming, rappelling and photographing the slot canyons and wilderness areas of the Southwest with her husband.
