The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) has initiated a rulemaking for the regulation of X-ray equipment under Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) Title 9, Chapter 7. The proposed revisions affect Articles 2, 6, 8, and 11 and are intended to reorganize and clarify existing requirements while aligning them with current industry standards and practices.
A draft of the proposed rules is available for public review on the ADHS rulemaking webpage, along with an online survey for submitting comments. The public comment period is open through July 19, 2026, and ADHS encourages feedback from all interested stakeholders.
