I most value the AzVMA’s efforts focused on mental health and well-being; webinars and CE opportunities discuss tangible means to help me thrive sustainably - more than just survive. These discussions about healthy workplace culture are contagious! As a mentor involved in the AzVMA’s Mentorship Program for veterinary students, I was then given the opportunity to continue the well-being discussion with veterinary students entering the profession. The educational opportunities, relationships and conversations facilitated by the AzVMA contribute to the mental health and subsequently to the career longevity of this veterinary generation as we face unique challenges in the modern profession.
