Dr. Amanda Donnelly is a sought-after speaker, consultant, and author with over 30 years’ experience in the veterinary profession. She is a second-generation veterinarian who combines her practice experience and business expertise to help veterinary leaders communicate better with their teams and clients.
Dr. Donnelly is a graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri. She has an MBA from Baker University in Overland Park, Kansas and holds a certificate in Veterinary Practice Administration from the AAHA Veterinary Management Institute (VMI) at Purdue University.
Dr. Donnelly is the author of Leading and Managing Veterinary Teams: The Definitive Guide to Veterinary Practice Management, a contributing author for Blackwell’s Five-Minute Veterinary Practice Management Consult and Pet-Specific Care for Veterinary Teams. She also writes the Talk the Talk communication column for Today’s Veterinary Business journal.
Well known as a dynamic speaker, Dr. Donnelly was the 2023 Practice Management Educator of the Year for WVC and has twice been named Practice Management Speaker of the Year for the VMX Conference.
Dr. Donnelly lives with her adorable dog in Nashville, Tennessee. When not working, she enjoys outdoor activities, traveling to new destinations, watching football (Go Chiefs and Titans) and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Ryane E. Englar graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She practiced as an associate veterinarian in companion animal practice before transitioning into the educational circuit as an advocate for pre-clinical training in primary care. She debuted in academia as a Clinical Instructor of the Community Practice Service at Cornell University’s Hospital for Animals. She then transitioned into the role of Assistant Professor as founding faculty at Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. She launched the Clinical Skills curriculum at Kansas State University between 2017 and 2020 before joining the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine as founding faculty. She currently serves as a dual appointment Professor of Practice and the Executive Director of Clinical and Professional Skills. In her current roles, Dr. Englar oversees a significant portion of the pre-clinical curriculum: four consecutive semesters of Clinical Skills and six consecutive semesters of Professional Skills.
Dr. Englar is passionate about advancing education for generalists by thinking outside of the box to develop new course materials for the hands-on learner. She has authored textbooks for use in veterinary medical education in the content areas of performing the companion animal physical examination, companion animal medicine, written communication (medical documentation), oral communication, clinical pathology, and spectrum of care.

Originally from Taiwan, Dr. Ann Fan earned her veterinary degree before relocating to Arizona. She obtained the required credentials to practice in the US through qualification exams and a clinical year at Colorado State University. Dr. Fan started as a small-animal general practitioner, and after many years of wildlife-related volunteering and completing a master’s degree in Wildlife conservation and forensic science at the University of Florida, she joined the AZ Game and Fish Department as a wildlife veterinarian in September 2024.

Katie is the director of Pima Medical Institute’s Veterinary Technician Program in Tucson. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona in 2008 and an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Penn Foster College in 2017. She has worked in the veterinary field since the year 2001 and became a certified veterinary technician in Arizona in 2010.
Driven by her strong interest for “all things lab and pathology,” Katie cultivated a healthy knowledge of the subject matter through extensive continuing education and academic instruction. She coauthored “Preanalytic Variables: Effects on CBC and Serum Chemistry Results” in Today’s Veterinary Nurse, and served as a contributing author for Margi Sirois’ Laboratory Procedures for Veterinary Technicians, 7th ed. And the 4th ed. of Principles and Practices of Veterinary Technology.
In recent years she served on the board of directors of the Arizona Veterinary Technician Association, the Animal Welfare Alliance of Southern Arizona, and The Hermitage Cat Shelter. She also volunteers with organizations such as Pima Animal Care Center, No-Kill Pima County, and Street Dog Coalition that provide free veterinary care for pets in under-served communities at community outreach events. Katie is most passionate about animal welfare and veterinary education – particularly the ethical use of animals for teaching & training purposes in both academic and clinical settings.

Genna is especially interested in helping beginners build confidence with scan technique, anatomy recognition, and efficient workflows in everyday practice. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, horseback riding, mountain biking and gardening.

Dr. Nellie Goetz received her DVM from Ohio State in 2005 and her Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2017. Dr. Goetz completed a residency in Large Animal Surgery at Oregon State University in 2010. From 2012 to 2014, she was the Medical Director of the National Spay/Neuter Response Team at the Humane Alliance in Asheville, NC. Dr. Goetz is a member of the Development Committee for the Association of Shelter Veterinarians, the Veterinary Special Interest Group of the American Public Health Association and an Advisory Council member for the Native America Humane Society.

Her work focuses on translating frontline clinical experience into practical frameworks that improve client guidance, reduce indecision, and support veterinarians in emotionally complex areas of care.

In January of 2017, Samantha started at the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence as an intern. Samantha graduated that year with a degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management. During her internship she was offered a position with the Coalition as a trainer, which she happily accepted. Since then she has provided trainings all over the state and nationally, as a Domestic Violence Response Coordinator, in collaboration with the AZ Department of Child Safety, ASU, NOVA and the AZ Department of Child Support Services. She has developed specific trainings on topics such as: reproductive coercion, the intersection of pets and domestic violence, technology misuse, the roots of violence, perpetrator treatment in Arizona and survivor advocacy. She has a particular interest in the intersection of pets and domestic violence and has been working on this intersection for 8 years at ACESDV. In 2021, Samantha received her master’s degree in Victim Service Management at Sam Houston State University in Texas. In 2024, she was promoted to Director of Victim Services at ACESDV, where she supports the AZ State Sexual and Domestic Violence Helpline staff as well as continuing her work with pet-inclusive services. Samanth is honored to work closely with ACESDV’s Survivor Advisory Committee, which supports our Speaker’s Bureau, as well as facilitates the ACESDV Education and Support Group. For self-care, Samantha enjoys reading, being with her close family members, and spending time at Disneyland.

Dr. Brisa Hsieh is an Associate Professor of Practice at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine and teaches in several course in the preclinical curriculum. She earned her DVM from Kansas State University and is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in small animal internal medicine Dr. Hsieh is passionate about advancing clinical excellence and educating the next generation of veterinarians through innovative, evidence-based teaching. Her interests include immune-mediated and endocrine diseases, endoscopy, clinical reasoning, and veterinary medical education. She is actively involved in developing engaging curricula, including team-based learning and flipped classroom approaches. Dr. Mackenzie Luick is a 2019 graduate of the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine where she also earned a Masters of Public Health as part of the dual degree DVM/MPH program. She completed a rotating internship at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital from 2019-2020. In 2020 Dr. Luick went to Peterson Smith Equine Hospital + Complete Care as a Hospital Intern and was accepted into the Surgical Residency Program the following year. She earned her Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2026.
Originally from Oregon, she attended Harvard University for undergrad where she majored in Latin American Studies with a minor in Global Health. She was a member of the varsity swim team and made it to Olympic Trials in the 100m breaststroke. Mackenzie especially enjoys colic surgery and emergency/critical care cases. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and staying active – especially running with her Treeing Walker Coonhound, Dixie.

Dr. Victoria Lukasik is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia (DACVAA) and Analgesia and has spent a majority of her career providing clinical anesthesia care for high risk patients through her mobile private practice Southwest Veterinary Anesthesiology. She is also a Professor of Practice at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine and continues to attend high risk anesthetic patients on a daily basis. After finishing her anesthesia residency, Dr. Lukasik completed advanced training in cardiothoracic anesthesia at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She has been involved in total artificial heart and left ventricular assist device research and participates in training MD surgical teams learning to implant and operate these devices. She is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker and has been presented with several professional awards, including one for compassion.

Dr. Martin grew up on a small farm in Enterprise, AL. Being the youngest, he was in charge of feeding the animals. This is where his passion for animal husbandry began. Dr. Martin graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Afterward, he joined Dairy Veterinary Services (DVS) in Chandler, Arizona as an associate and eventually became a partner in the practice. During his time at DVS, Dr. Martin was part of his dairy clients’ team to improve the operation by focusing on animal health and employee training. In 2021, Dr. Martin decided to leave private practice and began teaching at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine. When not working, he likes to spend time with his family, his herd of cattle, and wake surfing.

She is also an experienced Human Resources and Risk Management professional with extensive experience driving operational company programs such as people and process management, OSHA/regulatory compliance, risk management, safety, and education. Dr. Jennifer A. Neel is currently the Assistant Director of Clinical Pathology at Antech Diagnostics. She is originally from Phoenix, Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in agribusiness. She completed her DVM degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1999 and her residency in clinical pathology at NC State, CVM in 2002 where she was subsequently a faculty member from 2003-2022. She obtained a Master of Science in Veterinary Education in 2022 from the Royal Veterinary College of London. She joined Antech Diagnostics in 2021 and has been Assistant Director of Clinical Pathology since 2022. She is passionate about diagnostic cytopathology, enjoys teaching, particularly hematology and cytology, and has authored several publications and book chapters on these topics. Jennifer has presented extensively on various clinical pathology topics including five international conferences on cytology for veterinary practitioners. She has also been recognized for her excellence in student teaching by NC State. Currently, she resides in Tucson, Arizona, with her husband and cats. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, cooking, reading, gardening, and expanding her knowledge of the animals and plants of the American Southwest.

She has over a decade of experience in veterinary academic leadership, with roles at both the University of Arizona and Lincoln Memorial University.
Dr. Price has worked directly with veterinary students, new DVM graduates, credentialed veterinary technicians, and practice teams in clinical and academic settings. She has served on the Board of Directors for Pawsibilities Vet Med, an international veterinary mentorship organization, and has spoken nationally on mentorship, veterinary team utilization, and technician engagement.

Lorenzo Quiroz has been a veterinary technician since 2006 and joined Eye Care for Animals in 2011. He currently serves as the Area Business Manager for Arizona and New Mexico, where he oversees multiple clinics and supports operational efficiency, clinical excellence, and team development. Throughout his tenure with Eye Care for Animals, he has contributed to the advancement of veterinary medicine, particularly within the ophthalmic discipline, through research, education, and leadership. He has presented at both local and national conferences and has authored and co-authored multiple research studies. His primary areas of focus include team development, anesthesia, and ophthalmic training, with a strong emphasis on bridging clinical practice with innovation and continuous learning. She decided against the circus, and today Dr. Dani Rabwin is a veterinarian, author, speaker, and mentor. She is the founder of Ready, Vet, Go, a growing platform that supports new and early-career veterinarians through remote mentorship, practical education, and a vibrant community of peers and mentors. Her work complements the in-clinic guidance offered by veterinary practices, helping early-career vets build confidence, competence, and connection. Dani graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and completed an internship at Michigan Veterinary Specialists. She continues to practice in the Bay Area, California, and feels deeply privileged to help veterinarians thrive in the profession she loves.

Dr. Paris J. Revoir, a graduate of the Michigan State University (MSU) College of Veterinary Medicine, began his career as an associate in small animal practice in Midland, Mich. Four years later, he joined Hill’s Pet Nutrition as a professional services representative in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn. area. In 1990, Dr. Revoir opened PetWorks Veterinary Hospital, a full-service small animal practice in Overland Park, Kan., that was recognized for innovation. In 1999, he received the prestigious Distinguished Veterinary Alumni Award from the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) at Michigan State, which honors one MSU CVM graduate annually for excellence in private practice. During his time in private practice in Overland Park, Dr. Revoir hosted “Pet Talk,” a live ask-thevet radio call-in program, and served on several animal health industry practitioner advisory boards. In 2003, he returned to industry for years of service at Hill’s, Bayer Animal Health, Merck Animal Health and Zomedica, where he provided technical support to marketing, customer service and field sales organizations; worked with key opinion leaders and veterinary colleges; and offered critical input to R&D teams. In 2021, after one year with Zomedica, Dr. Revoir received the prestigious Professional Services Veterinarian of the Year award. Dr. Revoir joined American Regent Animal Health in 2022 as a Professional Services Veterinarian where he continues to support veterinarians in practice. He currently resides in Minnetrista, Minn., with his wife Tracy (also an accomplished veterinarian), their two cats Gracie and Skeeter, and their dog Tilly.

She is the co-founder of DairyKind, an education and training company focused on improving animal well-being by supporting the people who care for livestock. She can also be found on social media as the DairyDoc online and speaking at various conferences. She recently wrote a children’s book called “DairyDoc’s Discovery Goggles: Milk from Cow to Carton.”
