ADHS has organized a webinar series on antimicrobial stewardship for AMR Awareness week. I think we may have missed the window to share this in this month’s newsletter, but if possible would you be willing to share the following information in your November newsletter, as veterinarians are welcome to attend these sessions and the One Health session may be of particular interest. Thank you!
“The U.S. Antibiotic Awareness Week (USAAW) is observed each year from November 18–24 to provide education and raise awareness of the importance of appropriate antibiotic and antifungal use, and the threat antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses to people, animals, plants, and our shared environment.
For the 2025 USAAW, the theme is “Fighting Antimicrobial Resistance Takes All of Us.”
The Arizona Department of Health Services’ Office of Healthcare-Associated Infections are excited to invite you – our essential partners across the state – to participate in our inaugural 2025 ADHS “Making an IMPACT Together” Webinar Series!
